First visit, went for lunch, good quality food .I was told they make the best breakfast in town. The bread is baked fresh every day, and your meal is prepared fresh after you order .It is worth the couple of minutes you have to wait.

The experience at Shanty Cafe is like a mini vacation. The atmosphere feels like you've stepped into a whole other part of the world. The service is true Maritime warmth and friendliness. The food is always delicious! Pure Awesomeness!

The food here was very tasty, interesting and very reasonably priced. Cuban black bean soup was amazing as were the samosas and plantain chips. the service was very good. I couldn't believe that a small inexpensive high quality and interesting café like this has found a home in the culinary desert that is Yarmouth.

Was in Yarmouth for two days and ate breakfast and dinner at the Shanty. Huge menu for picky eaters, vegetarians etc. A very welcoming place with great staff. Great atmosphere and the food was high quality! I will be back for sure next year!
